    Our Platform

Our Extreme Genome Editing (EGETM) platform has empowered us to specialize in the creation of custom and off-the-shelf humanized animal and cell models. EGETM technology is a proprietary CRISPR/Cas9-based platform that shifts the DNA repair mechanism from non-homologous end joining (NHEJ) to homology directed repair (HDR). This boosts large fragment knock-in efficiency by 10-20-fold, resulting in significant time and cost savings. The EGETM platform enables accurate DNA editing at almost any genomic locus, permitting the rapid generation of genetically engineered mouse models including global knock-out (KO), global knock-in (KI), conditional knock-out/knock-in (cKO/cKI), point mutation, and reporter mice.
